More prons for the Haru-heads. I drew Tom x Haru, but oddly enough, it looks like bad Light x L. Tom doesn't really look like Light, but... As for the rest of my life, the parts that were hard are doing better, and the parts that were good are still good. Not much to report, other than that the laundromat below our apartment raised their fare from $2.00 to $2.75 over night. Not cool.

It's Near and Haru of course. I am attempting to train myself to draw bodies by using references (what a concept!). Near kind of came out looking weird because of my attempt at perspective, but Haru came out delicious. It is SO MUCH EASIER to draw this way. Plus collecting the refs isan excuse to look at pron fun. :D

Time for another amusing story featuring my boyfriend.
He works at the Prudential Center in downtown Boston. While he's on his way to work I get a text from him that says "I just saw Pikachu." Now, he's kind of a weird guy known for cryptic messages, so I'm not sure what to think. Ten minutes later, another text: "another one." I text him back, asking "Why?"
The next thing he tells me is that Mello and Near were eating at the food court, and I figured it out finally. ANIME BOSTON. It was like right there where he worked . The subway, the food court, everything was full of cosplayers. He was, needless to say, overwhelmed. XD
I should have gone. Maybe next year. I've actually never been to a convention, and never cosplayed. Now as far as Matt is concerned, this is a good thing, but it made me really want to check it out.

Farewell, dear reader. Here is the end of Haru’s second arc. These ten chapters will be bound together under the title Adventures in Solitude, the sequel to L is for Legacy. I finally chose this title after it had been staring me in the face for a long time, as the name of a song on Haru's soon-to-be-posted playlist. Kristin's bridal shower was really fun. I wore my new sundress I just bought yesterday. We all started with one little heart-themed button, and every time you caught someone saying "wedding" or "bride" you got to take their button. I won -- I stole five peoples' buttons. I was so quick to call people out when they made mistakes. XD So I got a bouquet to take home. Does that mean my wedding is coming up next? Who knows...At any rate, it was fun to gather with my high school friends. Everyone gets old so fast.

In Cali for the weekend! Gosh, I always forget how beautiful it is here. I iwll have to post some pictures of my mom's dog; he is the cutest thing. XD I brought a peanut butter sandwich to eat on the plane because I was too cheap to by overpriced airline food, and then it turned out there was a kid with a severe peanut allergy on our flight and we weren't allowed to eat anything containing peanuts because he might go into anaphylactic shock. O_O so instead I just ate a whole bunch of chocolate and Sweetarts for lunch. >>...

Philip passed all his exams, so he's going to stay here next year! :D He, Lindsey and I signed our lease, so we'll have to find someone to fill the fourth spot over the summer. It's a huge relief not to have to move, and I'm very proud of Philip. Got to get him drunk tonight! ;D
Also, this weekend I'm going to California to visit my family and attend a bridal shower for one of my best high school friends. O_O It weirds me out that she's getting married already, but I'm super excited. It will be a very short visit back home, but I got such a cheap flight that it's totally worth it. :D
Finally, my good friend John and his roommates made this 100% original animated rap video, so I thought I'd share it. It's really silly and obscene, but it's awesome. The song itself starts around 1:30, but there's an animated penis war first. PENIS WAR. Must watch. Boys are so strange. XD
